A guide to distinguish copy from coincidence

Aside my guide looking horrible, let's go to the important part:


Now, I usually avoid the fandom drama and fights, but this idea had been bugging me for a while after been accused of copying another oc. Thankfully it was all a misunderstanding and nothing big happened afterwards. But this leaved me thinking how many times this could had happened without both artists involved realizing they are just afraid of being copied, which is a very normal and pretty much everyone that creates original content has, myself included.
There have been several times I've wonder if someone had just copied an oc of mine, but after a while I realize it's just a coincidence, just a detail and that I'm over reacting.

Yes, there are people that do copy others on purpose, but even some of them don't realize what they are doing is wrong. Just think about when you just start drawing, we all have copied this or that of a character we liked, maybe copied a bit too much.
If there's something I've learned, is hate is never the answer, aggression is never the answer.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

So this is just my humble point of view to this mess, I hope this helps somehow, because I've met some wonderful people in this fandom and I do believe a lot of fights could be avoided if we all just relaxed and stop acting like everyone wants to stab us on the back.
